This activity should be done early morning. The time when you are bursting with energy and are well rested. It is not to say you can t choose evenings. Before you project, you need to know where you want to go beforehand. Ask yourself before you begin anything. What you would like to see and why. This will be part of your visualizations and meditations when you do attempt to get into that state. So you must find a destination that will help you project. This will help you understand why you want to do it. All these components help get into deeper states of consciousness.

Once you know what you want, you can begin. The first thing you must do is find a way to relax. There are many ways to do this. You can do a relaxation meditation if you know one. Start with a few deep breaths. Each breath should take you deeper into the meditation. Making you feel more relaxed as you continue. You should start seeing color behind your eyes, this is good but you should continue.

You now go into what many frequent travelers call, the vibration state. This is when you start feeling or experiencing vibrations. This means you can be ready to go in. This also means your astral body and your physical body are becoming separate. So it has begun to detach and is now leaving. This is good, let it happen naturally and maintain that relaxed state. Feel everything out, including these vibrations.

You now need to conquer the vibrations. You should try to control them with your mind. See if you can move them from one area to another. Can you move them through your whole body? Or from one area, hands to the other, the feet? You should also try to switch them on and off a couple of times. This is goodwill power and mental exercise.

Now you are ready to try something more intricate. You need to visualize a rope above your head. Picture grabbing this rope by the hand. This is how you will be pulling yourself into the other plane. Keep on trying and extend to two hands eventually. Take note while all this happening your vibrations may become more intense as you do this.

After you have tugged on the tope a bit, you can end the exercise. Don t worry you re not done, but just concluding for now. You will go to repeat these steps until you are fully aware of the rope and are able to use two hands to grab at it. You may feel dizzy and overwhelmed but these are signs that you are coming along nicely.
