How Spiritual Energy Healing Can Revitalize Your Life

By Elaine Guthrie

At the end of the day, many people find themselves feeling blue, run down, and low on energy. This can be attributed to a demanding work schedule, combined with the demands of raising a family. Whatever the reason, this often leads to unhealthy habits such as smoking, consuming energy drinks, and over eating. Sugary snacks and caffeine filled beverages help spike energy levels for a short time, but sooner or later people find themselves back to their original state: tired and unhappy. This constant struggle has created an interest in natural ways of rejuvenating ones vigor. One of those alternative methods involves a concept called spiritual energy healing.

For those unfamiliar with this concept, energy healing is a subtle, yet powerful practice used to realign our bodies with the natural world. It refers to the spiritual aspect of our beings which is often neglected during the daily grind between work, home, and family. Yet ignoring this aspect of ourselves can leave us feeling off balance.

Energy healing benefits its practitioners by discovering the reason why the problem exists. Most of us will reach for a pill when our head hurts. Yes, that pill will take away the symptoms, however the reason why that headache occurs daily is not addressed. So the problem will continue. Instead of simply masking the problem, this healing technique allows one to discover the cause. Unlike the pill, once the reason is found the practitioner is then allowed to focus on eliminating the issue permanently, leading to improved overall health.

This is done by realigning the energy channels found within the body. There are various points within these pathways that are commonly called Chakras. These points create an aura which is the life force that surrounds everyone. When individuals feel lethargic, or depressed it can mean they need to revitalize their aura.

Spiritual cleansing uses a few different methods of realigning our life force and vitality. While all of these vary in their approach, the goal for each technique is the same: to heal the body. Here is a brief description of common practices.

The thought of needles may seem alien to those unfamiliar with acupuncture, however they are very effective in realigning natural pathways. Each hair thin needle is placed along key points that awaken the nervous system and revitalize sluggish energy flows. This method encourages the body to reboot the Chakras and invigorate the life force.

The deep breathing in meditation is another form of spiritual healing that allows each person to send their focus inwards. By clearing the mind and relaxing the body, the individual allows their Chakras to reboot leading to a sense of oneness with the natural world. Negative emotions and the daily stresses of living melt away leaving one feeling refreshed.

Quantum touch is similar to meditation as it asks for participants to focus on deep, rhythmic breathing which channels our awareness inwards. The focus is directed towards creating an awareness of our inner force. This exercise is guided by a teacher who shows students how to harness this and use it for self-healing. Occasionally massage is incorporated into the session in order to further create a sense of calm and relaxation.

Spiritual healing is growing in popularity due to its non-invasive nature. There are no side effects, and it complements existing treatment plans or therapies. This method allows everyone to take a personalized approach in achieving improved mental, physical, and spiritual health.
