Psych-K Is A Growing Ideology

By Carmella Watts

Psych-K is more than a methodology, it is a belief system that was created in 1988 by a man named Rob Williams. The originator believes that if there is peace and happiness within people's own lives then there will be peace and happiness in the world. This is the ideology that sprung the philosophy and practice of Psych-K.

Used as a tool to address the emotional turmoil of mentally ill or troubled people, the method has been active since the late eighties in dealing with complex to simple issues. Some of these issues could be what one interprets as a mental block on success, relationships, physical health and many other subjects.

Kinesiology is what the 'k' in Psych-K stands for. It is a method of muscle testing to determine three things. It can determine simple yes or no responses to uncomplicated questions. It can also determine the true feelings of an individual on a particular subject or used to find stress points and anxiety within an individuals mind and body.

Over these twenty years Rob Williams has worked on and made the method what it is today; an innovative approach to healing people spiritually and psychologically. For nearly a decade since its conception though it was not known to many people.

Nine years after Rob Williams created his method, did others begin to use it as well. Mr. Williams was adamant that he personally train and supervise new recruits and practitioners. His high standard of excellence and care for the health of his patients created a following of professional therapists who use the method to ease the suffering of others.

Through the hundreds and thousands of uses of this system, health professionals who implement it have begun to understand and teach others to understand their spirituality. Rob Williams writes about his own system and mentions that it is a method that can influence an individual's state of mind directly.

This interesting method has proclaimed itself as a way to deal with people's assumed separation from divinity. A subject that both Albert Einstein and French philosopher Chardin were known to have talked about. These two ingenious men believed that man is of the disposition of being a divine being who is living a human life.

By helping people analyze and understand the feelings of their subconscious, Psych-K, will create a path to help these same people deprogram the thoughts and feelings they do not like and replace them with the ones they do like. Rob Williams spent many years and countless sessions studying and observing both groups and individuals in order to develop the system that is known today.

The subconscious mind's programmed beliefs are what governs the rest of the individuals feelings and actions. Psych-K is a method of resolving the programmed feelings that individuals find to be ill placed and inconvenient. It is a method that helps the two halves of the brain communicate and thereby giving an individual the thought process of the whole brain rather than the partial subconscious or conscious. This system is supposed to help people heal from traumas, achieve their dreams, and merge their dreams with reality.
